Sonata is a playable character in Lethal League and Lethal League Blaze.

About[]

Sonata has a lot going for her, making her one of the most versatile characters in the game. Her angles are both threatening and perfect for ball hogging, allowing you to create hybrid chains very naturally, as well as create elaborate baits to trip up your opponent. Her special is simple but, just like her angles, has a good mix of kill and ball hogging potential, especially at higher speeds. Her movement is top notch, having three jumps instead of the usual two. This makes her very good at controlling airspace, allowing you to retreat to a safe space for your ball hogging, as well as follow your opponent omnidirectionally when defending. If you’re already set on spending some time becoming technically proficient, sonata is the perfect choice. She gives you both freedom and power, showing no glaring faults in her kit.

As a renowned b-girl and emcee Sonata can hype up any crowd, at any time. She carries a custom boombox hammer and wields it effortlessly, owing to her diligent training. Having a big reputation, Sonata is often challenged. She however, never backs down from a callout.

Mobility[]

Sonata has a double-jump activated by pressing jump again mid air. (In Blaze, this is changed to a triple jump as every character now has a double jump)

Special Attack[]

Sonata's special is a slow, fixed-speed attack that allows you to control the ball multiple times in the air. The ball can sent in three directions in the way she's facing, then can be controlled two more times with the movement keys, now in six directions each. The ball is cancelled if it hits the left or right wall. This gives Sonata many possible mix-ups, including swing baiting, parry baiting, or keeping the ball to herself to setup a different attack.

A Sonata is an instrumental piece of music, usually with accompaniment from a piano.
Sonata's boombox hammer is similar in design to the jukebox featured at the bottom of the game screen, and is designed similarly to Doombox's eyes as well. The end of her hammer also has a microphone.
Sonata is a b-girl, which means that she frequents bars or dance venues and encourages patrons to buy drinks and engages in break-dancing.
Her birthday is August 10.

During a hefty Lethal League Match between Doombox and Sonata, Doombox suddenly transformed back into his Boombox form and spit out an indescribable entity. Sonata was taken aback at the way it crept towards her when it, without warning, almost involuntarily leaped at her. Sonata's vision faded and her mind spiralled out of consciousness... When she came to, she could feel the beat of her boomhammer flow through her veins. This is not bad at all... -Stereo Overdrive Arachnida
